The Courthouse is open to the public between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Court Clerk's Office is open between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Central Time) Monday through Friday. The exceptions to this are Federal holidays.
To enter the courthouse, a photo ID is required. No cameras, camera phones, or recording devices are permitted in the courthouse.

Outside of normal hours of operation, pleadings may be left in the "drop box". It is located just outside the double doors of the Court Clerks Office on the first floor. The drop box is accessible when the courthouse building is open to the public between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The documents are picked up by our staff each day and file-stamped the day that they are placed in the box.

The Court is authorized for six district judges and has one vacancy. The current judicial officers include five district judges, four senior judges, five full-time magistrate judges, one recalled magistrate judge, and one part-time magistrate judge.
Magistrate judges hear civil matters pursuant to an order of reference entered in the case by the assigned district court judge. Magistrate judges hear preliminary matters in felony criminal cases pursuant to a general order of reference and independent statutory authority. Magistrate judges have the authority to hear misdemeanor cases and civil cases upon consent of the parties.
